Austin "Believe" Smith was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. Believe started playing when he was 12 years old and has played competitive since he was 14.

Black Ops 3[]

On June 9, Believe joined New Hope eSports alongside InFamous, Kizzle, and Nova.^[20] At the MLG Anaheim Open 2016, their first event as a team, New Hope eSports would miss qualifying for the championship bracket by one round. Finishing with a 21-24th placing. On June 27, Believe and his teammates left New Hope eSports and joined SetToDestroyX.^[21] The next event, MLG Orlando Open 2016, would see Believe and SetToDestroyX qualifying for championship bracket. In loser's round 1 they eliminated Kingsmen 3-1 but would fall 1-3 to Apotheon Esports in loser's round 2. Finishing with a 13-16th placing.
