Alex "Examples" Hartlaub is a former Call of Duty player. He is most known for his time on 100 Thieves and Rogue.

Biography

Examples began his Black Ops 3 career playing with Mutiny for about a month, until he moved to play under Team Orbit NA with Realize and Saint. He saw success at UMG South Carolina 2016, teaming with eGo, Mochila, and LlamaGod on Velocity eSports and fighting through open bracket to end the event with a Top 12 finish in open bracket. Once that team disbanded, Examples found a home with Royalty, Nelson, and Johnny under KingPapey. The team stayed relatively underground until they reached the CWL Stage 2 Online qualifier and placed T4, and after defeating Team Kaliber. KingPapey entered Stage 2 of the Call of Duty World League. Once the team was purchased by NaDeSHoT and rebranded as Hundred Thieves, Examples and crew have started to make themselves known as top tier players in the CWL.

Trivia

  • Examples' favorite Call of Duty is Black Ops II.
