Joey "Nubzy" DiGiacomo is a head coach for Seattle Surge.

Nubzy began playing Call of Duty early on, starting with The Big Red One. He strictly played public matches until he was introduced to Gamebattles in Black Ops. He played GBs through the Black Ops 2 season, ultimately returning to pubs at the end of the game’s cycle. Following another two years of public matches, he returned to the competitive scene in Black Ops 3, where he began taking it seriously. He played subscriber wager matches with Octane, where he met one of his first teammates Galvanize.

Infinite Warfare

Galvanize convinced Nubzy to compete at LAN tournaments, which took them to CWL Vegas 2017, placing 65-80th. He kept attending LANs throughout the year, consistently placing 65-80th. Despite these placings, Nubzy began making a name for himself through his friendship with Arcitys and Maux, as well as increasing effort into his stream.

World War 2

Nubzy obtained his current highest placing at CWL Atlanta 2018, placing 49-64th alongside Galvanize, Starfish, and Apollo.

Black Ops 4

On November 30, 2018 Nubzy joined the Pittsburgh Knights as their Head Coach. He quickly became respected as a coach and helped the team achieve a Top 16 finish at the CWL Las Vegas Open. Unfortunately for Nubzy, the team did not survive the Pro League Qualifier and the roster was released from the Pittsburgh Knights. Nubzy joined Gen.G as coach in the following week.

  • Nubzy's alias comes from two nicknames from his childhood: Nubz and Nubby. He combined the two to get Nubzy.
