Derrek "Realize" Jordan is a former Call of Duty player. His most notable teams are Curse Youth and VanQuish Gaming.

Biography[]

The Beginning[]

Realize started playing Call of Duty in the 9th grade on Call of Duty: Black Ops. Realize started out playing public matches in Call of Duty: Black Ops before getting into the competitive scene on Game Battles around the middle of the 2011 Winter season. Realize's neighbor, who was an avid Call of Duty competitive player, got Realize into competitive gaming by asking him to go to MLG Orlando 2011 the day before the event just for fun and ended up placing top 32. After that event, Realize was motivated to play even more, thus continuing to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, where he played the game non stop to be the best he could be.

The Break Through[]

Continuing into Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Realize's competitive career really took, having then play for names like aDversity and vVv Gaming and escalated even more which allowed Realize to grow placing 3rd at the MLG Winter Championship 2013 and 8th at the MLG Spring Championship 2013 with vVv Gaming. Following that was an unfortunate turn of events where Realize left vVv Gaming, he then got picked up by SoaR Gaming for two more events of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 season, placing 4th at UMG Atlanta 2013 and 5th at the MLG PAX Prime Invitational 2013. Realize then left SoaR Gaming and teamed up with aDversity for the last event of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 season being UMG Dallas 2013 where they placed 9th.

Many Roster Changed[]

After the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 season had finished were a series of team changes for the current Call of Duty: Ghosts season. Realize left aDversity and joined VanQuish Gaming for the MLG Fall Championship 2013. At the MLG Fall Championship, Realize and his team, VanQuish Gaming, placed 7th overall out of 128 teams. Following Columbus, Realize left VanQuish Gaming and joined Dare Rising. The team did not last before disbanding after only a few weeks. Following the disbandment of Dare Rising, Realize went on to play for Curse Youth alongside Methodz, Chino and Attach. Disappointingly, Curse Youth weren't allowed to attend due to age restrictions.

Trivia[]

  • Realize's most favorite moment in Call of Duty history is when he was calling in the lightning strike against Curse NA at the MLG Spring Championship 2013 who were returning the flag and were an inch away from the goal and winning the game to get top 8.
  • Realize's first gamertag was "Replays" until he met Chris Replays otherwise known as Replays thus changing it to "Realize".
  • Realize is often mistaken for the British Realize.
  • Realize was not able to compete at the Call of Duty Championship 2013 due to age restrictions. His replacement for the event was Dedo.
  • Realize's all-time favorite game is Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
