Biography[]

Beginnings[]

Maux has been a life long video game player and began playing Call of Duty after receiving World at War for Christmas when he was 10. His skill at Modern Warfare 2 convinced him to start trying to play at the few local tournaments available when he was 12. Maux continued trying to compete online through the next several titles. At 16 he made the decision to stop playing high school football which consumed most of his time to focus on competitive Call of Duty.

Advanced Warfare[]

Maux made his first major competitive appearance at UMG Dallas 2015 playing with Evade Nation and placing T28 in Open Brackets. Maux repeated a T28 performance later that year at UMG Washington D.C. 2015 playing under Repent Gaming. At 17 Maux would be unable to compete again until after his April 2016 birthday.

Black Ops 3[]

In May 2016 Maux signed to the Cloud9 Eclipse team to play alongside Dedo, SiLLY and Swarley. His only LAN opportunity with this squad was MLG Anaheim Open 2016 where they managed T16 finish. A roster shake up in July with the Cloud9 sister team saw the dissolution of the C9 Eclipse team. Maux then joined with Parasite, MiRx and Llama to form a team for MLG Orlando Open 2016. This squad competed under the Kingsmen organization, however with a T20 finish the team dissolved shortly after. Maux ended The Black Ops III season failing to qualifying for the 2016 Championship under Next Threat led by Censor.

Infinite Warfare[]

The Infinite Warfare cycle began promisingly for Maux. Teaming with veteran players MiRx, Whea7s and KiLLa under the Revenge, the team qualified for pool play for the first event, of the year CWL Las Vegas. However, a disappointing T20 finish led to the team disbanding. A race for Pro Points to qualify for the 2017 CWL Global Pro League Stage 1 saw Maux team with DraMa, Priest and Xotic under The GosuCrew. Decent placings in online weekly 2Ks kept this team in contention for league play. A T12 placing at CWL Atlanta followed by a disappointing T36 at CWL Paris made the race for pro points tighter still.

With the Pro Point race ending after CWL Dallas it came down to a match versus Evil Geniuses to decide which of the two would make League play. A 3-1 loss to Evil Geniuses, and an overall T12 finish ended Maux's run for Stage 1 League play and started a carousel of roster changes. With eyes on the online NA Relegation Qualifier for the 2017 CWL Global Pro League. Maux joined free agents Lacefield, LlamaGod, and veteran player SpaceLy. This squad qualified with relative ease for Stage 2, earning them a pool play spot for the CWL Anaheim under BitterSweet. Despite a strong start, sweeping their Anaheim Pool against Evil Geniuses, Faze Clan, eLevate EU and eRa Gaming, the squad finished with at T12 . However, their strong performance overall resulted in being recruited by a new but dynamic organization, Ghost Gaming.

For Maux and his team, the 2017 CWL Global Pro League Stage 2 again started with high hopes after a 4-0 start, but ended with two losses and a three way tie for playoff contention, with Ghost Gaming ultimately missing out by one map. However, by qualifying for Stage 2, Maux's squad had earned a place at the 2017 Call of Duty World League Championship in Orlando.

2017 Champs began with another strong start for Ghost Gaming, sweeping their group 3-0. They continued to play well in bracket play, beating Cloud 9 in winners round 1, before losing to eventual 2nd place finishers Team EnVyUs. Dropping to loser's bracket, the team managed one more round, beating Enigma6, but were eventually eliminated by Rise Nation in losers round 3. Despite the loss, Maux had proven his ability to compete at the very highest level, the 7-8th finish was also his highest career placing thus far.
